Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, North 24 Parganas, invites application for 42 posts of “Block ASHA Facilitators”. The selection will be purely on contractual basis under National Health Mission (NHM), North 24 Parganas for following Sub-Division — Basirhat, Barasat, Barrackpore and Bongaon. BLOCK ASHA FACILITATORS
No. of vacancies as per Sub-Division of district North 24 Parganas.
(i) Basirhat Sub-Division: 20 posts (UR—10; SC—5; ST—1; OBC—4)
(ii) Barasat Sub-division: 14 posts (UR—7; SC—3; ST—1; OBC—3)
(iii) Barrackpore Sub-division: 02 posts (UR—1; SC—1)
(iv) Bongaon Sub-division: 6 posts. (UR—3; SC—1; ST—1; OBC-A—1)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Social Science/Sociology/ Social Anthropology/ Social Worker (MSW)/ Business Administration (MBA)/ Economics/ Rural Development/ Mass Communication
OR Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 02 years experience in health project.
Candidates should have knowledge of MS Office & Internet. Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in ASHA Programme.
Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in ASHA Programme.
Note: Candidates should be a resident of the same sub-division where he/she is applying.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 09/07/2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.7500/- per month
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Computer skill test and on basis of experience. Candidates may download their Admit card from 13/08/2015 from the official website of district North 24 Parganas — www.north24parganas.gov.in (See URL below)
