Eligibility Criteria for WBSSC Recruitment :
- Educational Qualification :
- For Transport Supervisor : Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution and diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution with two years experience in automobile workshop of repute and having Driving Licence for heavy vehicle.
- For Computer Supervisor : Bachelor Degree from a recognized university and one year full time PGDCA course from an institute recognized by UGC or AICTE or Government of West Bengal with three years working experience. or Bachelor Degree from a recognized university and A Level Certificate of D.O.E.A.C.C. from an institute recognized by Deportment of Electronics government of India with three years experience.
- Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : As on 01.01.2016
- For Transport Supervisor : 23 to 34 years
- For Computer Supervisor : 24 to 35 years
Age of Relaxation :
- SC and ST candidates of West Bengal : 5 years
- Other Backward Classes of West Bengal : 3 years
- PH Candidates : 05 years

Application Fee : All categories of candidates except Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe shall pay Examination fees of Rs. 200/- and Processing fees of Rs. 20/- (Total amount – Rs. 220/-) only. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe / Persons with Disabilities (40% and above only) shall pay Processing fees of Rs. 20/- only .
- Online Mode : Candidates have to pay Rs.5/- through payment gateway using Debit Cards/ Credits Cards/ Net banking of any bank.
- Online Submission through Tathya Mitra Kendras : Candidates have to pay Rs.40/- to the authorized staff of the Tahthy Mitra Kendra.
